Purchase Digital Tickets

  • We understand.  Connect with your building Athletic Director about this. They are here to assist you.

• Can students pay cash for this event pass? 
  • Simple answer is YES.  Stop in your school's Athletic Office to do this.    
• Are there any other special fees for the pass?
  • Nope, you will check out for just $20
• Do students need a special code to purchase a pass?
  • Yes, the code is simply your student email address and your exclusive student ID number.   Once you enter this data at the prompt you can purchase your pass.  Each SDJ high school student will have their own game pass that is NOT transferable to any other students. 
• Ok, I bought my pass now where can I find it?
  • Your Sport Event Pass is housed in your GO FAN account and/or app.
• I am a student at SDJ who has registered for school a bit late.  My student ID is not working when I go to purchase a pass, what do I do?
  • No worries, go to your buildings Athletic's Office, they can help you there.
• Can a student use their pass more than once per game?
  • NO
• Can a student use their pass at a hockey game and then an hour later at a basketball game the same night?
  • YES!  Your pass can be used for any home athletic events on a given day, but 1 hour must pass before you can use it again. 
• Do I have to bring my ID to the games?
  • All SDJ students should have an updated school ID with them for all home and away games.   Keep the digital version of your ID in your phone and always assume you have to show it at the gate.  

• What is new regarding tickets and passes?
  • SDJ is adopting a digital platform called GO FAN for all athletic events.  This means that we are asking all students and fans to purchase digital tickets and passes for this year’s events. Also, the SDJ will no longer provide a hard copy Family Pass for sale.  All sport passes are to be purchased and used digitally on your mobile device.  
• Do I have to have the GO FAN app on my phone for me to get a ticket or pass? 
  • We strongly recommend you download the free app on your mobile device.  At the very least you need to have a GO FAN account which you can set up online for free.
• Can I print out the ticket or pass and bring that to the game for entry?
  • NO.  GO FAN is a digital platform.   
• Do I need a credit card to purchase a ticket?
  • The simple answer is YES. The Big 8 and SDJ is moving in the direction of selling tickets and passes for games in advance and moving away from any cash. For fall we are planning a 90/10 transition which means we expect 90% of the fans coming to games to either purchase their ticket digitally in advance or when they get to the game by using  a QR code that will be located near the entry gates to purchase the ticket.  
• Can I still purchase a ticket for cash at the game?
  • YES, however, we are planning for just 1 ticket window and the lines could be longer for cash purchasers, so get there early.  Our long term goal is to go completely cashless.
• What is the Sport Fast Pass?
  • The Fast Pass is an economical way for fans to catch all the Craig and Parker High School action at a very reduced rate and also allows fans to bypass ticket lines and get to the gate faster.   
• I heard the Sport Fast Pass is like a punch card? 
  • Well, kind of. It is a digital pass where fans can purchase game scans (tickets) in advance and digitally “load” them like a punch card (see table below).  Example: So, if you purchased the ACTIVE LEVEL which gets you 20 scans/tickets, you can use all 20 scans for you and your friends for one event or spread them out over the length of a season.  A person will have to be present to use that scan /ticket.

The School District of Janesville continues to offer SDJ employees with a no-cost pass for regular season home athletic events (excludes WIAA playoff/tournament events). This faculty pass allows the employee and one guest free access to athletic events. To be eligible for this pass, you must be an SDJ employee.

What has changed from last year?   Last year, staff simply showed their ID to get into games.   This year, we are asking staff to get their free event pass through the GO FAN platform. 

• How do I get my complimentary pass?
  • Please check your district email.  You will be emailed an exclusive code and link to the GO FAN platform.
• I did not get an email about this?  What should I do?
  • No worries, email those listed on the right-hand side of this webpage. 
• Can SDJ staff still use their Staff ID to get into a game?
  • For now, yes.  We encourage all staff to get their digital pass and just get in the habit now. 
• How many people can come in on a digital staff pass?
  • 2 total.  The staff member and the guest who is present with them.
• Does staff need to download the Go Fan App to hold the pass? 
  • We suggest you download the app on your mobile device and/or at least create an account online with GO FAN platform.
• Can staff use their pass more than once per game?
  • No
• Can staff use their pass at a hockey game and then an hour later at a basketball game?
  • Yes, but 1 hour must pass before the pass can be used again.
