After July 16, 2022, anyone in mental health distress can call or text 988 or use the chat function via www.suicidepreventionlifeline.
You may have questions about this new and easy way to access mental health supports.
Although 988 is not yet being publicly promoted, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services is encouraging all people involved in providing mental health resources to learn about 988 on the DHS website. This webpage will be updated frequently with information regarding implementation of 988 in Wisconsin.
