Superintendent

Greetings,

It is my honor and privilege to serve this community as the Superintendent for the School District of Janesville, and I am very excited to continue to work with all of you.

As we move toward the start of another school year, I look forward to working collaboratively with the school board, staff, parents and community to continue improving the exceptional educational experience available to the children in our schools.

I’m committed to ensuring all students have the ability to reach their full potential while becoming productive members of an ever-changing global society. I truly believe the greater Janesville community and district are poised for continued growth, and I am thrilled to be to be involved in that progress.

While we anticipate positive growth, we acknowledge there are challenges that lie ahead. There are areas where we can improve, and we continue to focus our attention on student success in math, literacy and attendance. Be assured that with the guidance of our district leadership team and our dedicated teachers and school staff, we will be working together to ensure every child is served and well-prepared for success.

The work continues, and I thank you for support as we do what is needed to help every child succeed. I look forward to what lies ahead.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments: mark.holzman@janesville.k12.wi.us.

Sincerely,
Mark Holzman, Superintendent
School District of Janesville
