Summer Food Service Program for Children

Learning does not end when school lets out.  Neither does the need for good nutrition - which is crucial for children to have safe and productive summers.  The summer food program provides an opportunity to continue a child's physical and social development while providing nutritious meals.

Who is Eligible?

All children 18 years of age and under are eligible to receive FREE meals.  No need to sign up or apply for the program - just bring yourself and enjoy tasty & nutritious meals.

Where & When?

The School District of Janesville will be offering free meals through the Summer Food Program at the following locations:

June 12, 2017-July 07, 2017: (“No Meals Served” on July 3 or 4, 2017 as there is no summer school for those two days)
Adams 9:15-10:15, 11:15--12:15;  Bond Park Pavilion 11:15-1:15, Boys & Girls Club 12-2, Edison 7:45-8:45, 11:00-12:15; Franklin  7:45-8:45; Hedberg Library 11:30-1:00; Jackson 7:45-8:45, 11:00-12:15; Jefferson  9:20-10:20, 11:15-12:15; Lincoln  9:15-10:15, 11:00-12:15; Madison 8:00-9:00, 11:15-12:15; Rock River Charter School 8:30-9:30, 10:45-11:45; Roosevelt  9-10, 11:15-12:15; TAGOS 8:30-9:30, 11:15-12:15; Van Buren  9:30-10:30, 11:15-12:15; Washington 8:45-9:45, 11:00-12:15; and Wilson 9:15-10:15, 11:15-12:15.

July 10, 2017-July 14, 2017:
TAGOS 8:30-9:30, 11:15-12:15.

July 10, 2017 – August 18, 2017: 
Bond Park Pavilion 11:15-1:15, Boys & Girls Club 12-2, and Hedberg Library 11:30-1:00. Adams, Jackson, Lincoln, Washington & Wilson will serve lunch, 11:15-12:15.
