2017-2018 Student Registration
The school year is almost here and we are busy polishing floors, preparing schedules and getting all the technology ready for the start of school. We are looking forward to a great school year for our students, families and staff.
Student registration takes place for all students who are already enrolled with the School District of Janesville. (If your student did not attended school with the School District of Janesville in the 2016-17 school year, please click New Student Enrollment or call 608-743-5153).
As parent or guardian of enrolled students, please register your children through online registration which opens Monday, July 10, 2017. To make online registration as easy as possible, make sure you have the following information before you begin:
- Household information - Addresses and Phone Numbers
- Parent Information - Work and Cell Phone Numbers, Email Addresses
- Emergency Contact Information - Work and Cell Phone Numbers, E-mail Addresses
- Children Information - Health/Medical Information
- Doctors and Dentists - Name and Phone Numbers
To begin, click on the Infinite Campus link in the upper right corner of the district homepage. Login with the same username and password you used last year (newly enrolled students with SDJ will receive login information at the time of enrollment).
Once you have logged in, you will see a link in the lower left menu bar of your student's account titled, "Online Registration". Click that link to begin the registration process. As you go through the questions, a red asterisk (*) indicates information you are required to enter. Be sure to type your information correctly, being careful of spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
If you have forgotten your password or username and you have previously setup in Campus an email address for recovering your credentials, click on "Forgot username" or "Forgot password" on the login page of the parent portal. You will receive an email with the username or instructions on how to reset the password. If you did not setup the recovery email address or if you have other questions, please contact System Support at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (608) 743-5004.
Payment of School Fees
- Parents with children who were enrolled last year can go online to pay school fees, along with any fees for milk and Athletics, after Friday, August 4th.
- Parents with children who are new to the District over the summer, can go online to pay all school fees after Friday, August 25.
Free/Reduced Price Meal Application
The online application for Free/Reduce Price Meals is available in Infinite Campus portal, under Applications/Forms. Please follow the online instructions to complete the application. It is recommended you gather any household income information needed and review your household members in the Household Information section for accuracy prior to starting the online application. The USDA's definition of a household member is any child or adult living with you.
An electronic signature PIN is required to submit your online Meal Benefits Application. If you do not have an electronic signature PIN created you will be required to do so prior to starting your online Meal Benefits Application.
Hosting an International Student
Consider hosting an International student in your home. International students will attend Craig, Parker, or Rock University High School. Families who host and international student for the 2017-2018 school year will receive an $800 monthly reimbursement to help cover expenses. The International student will need a bed, a place to study of their own, transportation, and evening and weekend meals.
