Healthy Snacks

Fruit– Any type (1/2 cup = 1 serving)

  • Frozen or dried fruit with no added sugar
  • Applesauce (unsweetened varieties)
  • Canned Fruit (light syrup only)
  • Fruit Leather (Varieties with no added sugar)
  • Popsicles (Fruit popsicles made with 100% fruit juice)
  • Fruit Juice Drinks (100% fruit juice)

Vegetables– Any type (1/2 cup = 1 serving)

  • Can be served with low-fat dip
  • Vegetable Juice Drinks (100% vegetable/fruit juices)


  • Baked Chips, Cheetos, Tortilla Chips
  • Graham Crackers or Stix
  • Teddy Grahams
  • Animal Crackers
  • Goldfish Crackers
  • Granola/Cereal/Breakfast Bars (Quaker, Nature Valley Brands)
  • Pretzels 
  • Popcorn– (Low-fat microwave, Vic’s or Koepsello’s already popped)
  • Breakfast cereal boxes (Varieties with no added sugar)


  • Yogurt (Low-fat, or fat free)
