We rank among the top districts academically in Rock County and the State of Wisconsin. Janesville Transit System (JTS) 2nd Semester bus passes for middle and high school students are on sale now. The $140 2nd semester pass is good for unlimited in-city rides on JTS between Monday, January 23 through the close of school on June 8, 2017.

Academic Standards

Academic Standards are goals that outline what a student should know and be able to do in each grade/subject. At the July 12, 2016 Board of Education meeting, the school board voted unanimously to reaffirm its adoption of the Wisconsin Academic Standards by the School District of Janesville. Those standards can be found at http://dpi.wi.gov/standards.
