Hosting an International Student
Consider hosting an International student in your home. “The experience of hosting definitely became more about how our guests impacted us rather than the other way around. I could not have anticipated the amazing influence hosting had on my family!”
International students will attend Craig, Parker, or Rock University High School. Families who host and international student for the 2016-2017 school year will receive an $800 monthly reimbursement to help cover expenses. The International student will need a bed, a place to study of their own, transportation, and evening and weekend meals.
Choosing to be a host family not only provides an opportunity for an International student to learn about America and what it stands for, but provides you and your family a chance to learn of others from all over the globe. You and your family will:
Build memories and friendships that will last a lifetime
Bring the world into your home, enriching every family member
Share the culture and values of America
Make a difference in the world by showing how we live, our customs and values
