The School District of Janesville welcomes you to Summer School 2012!
Online registration is not currently available for middle and high school students. Middle school students may register by calling Nichole Parsons in the Summer School Office at 743-5042 or by visiting the Summer School Office located at the Educational Services Center at 527 South Franklin Street.
High school students may register by calling Nichole Parsons in the Summer School Office at 743-5042, by visiting the Summer School Office located at the Educational Services Center at 527 South Franklin Street, or by stopping into the Guidance Office at their high school.
We hope you will take advantage of the variety of courses available at the district’s elementary, middle or high schools. Class schedules vary based on location and grade level, please select courses carefully.
As part of the February Parent-Teacher Conferences, parents/guardians will discuss their student’s interest in attending Summer School 2012. The Summer School Office will ensure students are active in the Summer School entity to allow for course selection. Parents/guardians will need to have their Family Access username and password available for on-line registration on March 17th. This information is the same username and password that parents/guardians use for Family Access during the regular school year. If you do not have or remember this information, it can be obtained from your student’s home school. Once courses are selected, you cannot add or change courses. You will need to contact the Summer School office at 743-5042 in order to make any changes.
What grade level do I register for summer school courses?
Students must register for classes at the grade level he/she is currently in for the 2011-2012 school year. Elementary school students can register for classes starting at 9:30 a.m. on March 17th. Middle and High School students can register for classes starting at 9:30 a.m. on April 14th. Registration for out-of-district elementary, middle and high school students will begin on May 7th. Out-of-district registration will need to be completed in the Summer School Office located at the Educational Services Center at 572 South Franklin Street. Please contact the Summer School Office at 743-5042 to receive a tuition fee schedule.
A fee of $7.00 is required for registration. This fee will only be refunded if the courses your student has signed up for are canceled.
Fees can be taken care of online either by using a credit or debit card. Parents/guardians can also print the registration/course selection form and attach a check or cash to the forms and either mail to the Summer School Office or deliver in person. Please make checks payable to the School District of Janesville. Our office is located at 527 South Franklin Street, Janesville, WI 53548. Please go to the main entrance located on South Franklin Street when delivering your forms and fee.
