Summer School Schedule for the 4th of July

Monday July 3, 2017 will be a no-school day.  This will allow families to enjoy  an extended four day weekend for the 4th of July holiday.  Additionally, meals will not be provided on July 3 and July 4 through the Summer Food Program at any of the designated meal locations.

NEW! Summer Bus Passes

The Janesville Transit System has implemented a new summer pass program for middle and high school students. Passes may be purchased at Edison, Franklin and Marshall Middle School; or at Craig or Parker High School from May 30 through June 8. After June 8, passes can be purchased at Craig and Parker High School, Edison Middle School and the Educational Services Center.

The pass costs $85 per student and provides unlimited rides on all JTS in-city routes.  Click here for more information.

Academic Standards

Academic Standards are goals that outline what a student should know and be able to do in each grade/subject. At the July 12, 2016 Board of Education meeting, the school board voted unanimously to reaffirm its adoption of the Wisconsin Academic Standards by the School District of Janesville. Those standards can be found at http://dpi.wi.gov/standards.
