Dr. Charles Urness joined Franklin Middle School as the principal in 2010. Dr. Urness graduated from UW-LaCrosse in 1993, with majors in History and Broadfield Social Studies. In 2001, he received a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UW-Madison. In 2012, Dr. Urness earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison.
All 6th grade students are required to receive a DTaP booster and a immunization record needs to be on file at Franklin. If the student has not received the DTaP booster, a waiver needs to be on file.
We would like to invite your student to participate in the Franklin Community Learning Center(CLC). The Franklin CLC is the result of a five year grant that focuses on math and reading enrichment. The program meets Monday-Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
