About Dr. Urness

Dr. Charles Urness joined Franklin Middle School as the principal in 2010. Dr. Urness graduated from UW-LaCrosse in 1993, with majors in History and Broadfield Social Studies. In 2001, he received a Master’s in Educational Leadership from UW-Madison. In 2012, Dr. Urness earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison.

	The Third Annual Parker Adaptive Music Concert The third annual Parker Adaptive Music Concert featuring the Wisconsin Singers and the Franklin Show choir is scheduled for February 22, 2013.	Franklin Students Selected for All-State Jr. Band Franklin Middle School and Band Director June M. Kubina are proud to announce that two students participated in the 2013 National Band Association – Wisconsin Chapter (NBA-WC) All-State Junior Band.	Inclement Weather/School Closing Information Franklin Middle School would like to inform families of weather related closing policies for the 2012-13 school year.
