The Roosevelt staff welcomes you to the Roosevelt Elementary School website. Roosevelt is a Kindergarten – 5th grade building with about 350 students.

Enrichment

Roosevelt houses the district Challenge program for highly gifted students in grades 4 and 5. We believe that the Challenge program is a tremendous asset of the School District of Janesville.

Classroom teachers provide differentiated instruction in their classrooms. We offer Chinese language to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.

We have Special Education teachers for Early Childhood, Speech and Language, and Learning Disabilities serving students identified as SLD, EBD, OHI, CD, S/L, and Early Childhood, so we have a very multicategorical approach!

Breakfast Club

Five churches provide volunteers to serve Breakfast Club: St. John Vianney, St. Mark’s Lutheran, St. John Lutheran, First Presbyterian, and Cargill Methodist. Breakfast is served daily and is available to all at no charge. Breakfast Club starts at 7:40 a.m. and serves breakfast until 8:10 a.m.

We offer free/reduced lunch to students who complete paperwork and quality for this.
